It was our annual Harvest Tea Dance at Croft Village Memorial Hall near Warrington and Wigan and the weather was dry but cool – not a bad start to the day, especially when the roads were clear and we had 8 people already in and it had just turned 2pm! thank you Zee for the effort you made in travelling so far and getting to us so early!
Toppers was on form (as usual) for the tandas and twirled the ladies around the dance floor and the atmosphere was superb. Always nice when our other DJs join us and to see known friendly faces and some new ones again, proving that you can’t beat word of mouth for good publicity!
We are back at Croft this coming Saturday the 14th September when Johana will be running our workshops improving our tango skills in wraps and change of direction, but there is an open PRACTICA/MILONGA for those wishing to pop out for a couple of hours. I put 7-9pm on the flyers, but you may turn up from 6.30pm if you prefer as the dancers from the workshop will be having a light supper then, so the dance floor should be empty for you to limber up and enthral us all on!
Don’t forget that our next TEA DANCE is 13th October with DJ TOPPER and its a HALLOWEEN theme!
See you then!!!
